Double Roasted Columbia
At a Glance
Roast: Light
Notes: Cream, Caramel, Malt
Region: Huila El Balcon
Method: Double Fermentation
Description
Differing from our other Columbian Roasts, enjoy this well balanced, traditional Swiss method coffee roast, in which the bean is brought to its first crack in the initial roast, cooled, rested, and then roasted a second time. This caramelizes the bean without further extraction, creating a more complex tasting light roast coffee. Flavor notes include a bright acidity, fruitiness, caramel, nuttiness on the finish, with a creamy mouth feel.
